USE:
- Use form one when there's no possible ambiguity. In the example, there's only one guard in the current room.
- Use form two or three when more information is needed to interpret the command — that is, there's more than one possible target by the same name to which the command could be applied. In the example, there's a tall guard, a short guard, a skinny guard, etc.
- Use form two or three when more information is needed to interpret the command — that is, there's more than one possible target by the same name to which the command could be applied. In the example, there's a tall guard, a short guard, a skinny guard, etc.
- Use form four when there are many instances of <target> present, and you want to draw an illness from one of them in particular.
When you successfully "draw" paralysis from the body of a sufferer, the paralysis is completely removed from that person or animal. Usually that's a good thing. Note however this consequence: unless you yourself are somehow immune to paralysis, you'll take that paralysis into your own body — becoming immediately paralyzed. This may or may not be wise. Caution is advised.
There are many conditions which could prevent you from being able to draw paralysis from a particular target. You may be too tired, or paralyzed yourself, or unable to perceive the target. You may be insufficiently skilled in the DrawParalysis Skill. The Game channel will inform you of the outcome of your command.
As with many other TriadCity commands, your expertise with the DrawParalysis Skill will determine how effective your attempts to use the DrawParalysis command will be.
DrawParalysis is a Healer Role command only.
Note that Healers may also use the RemoveParalysis command. While both commands have the potential to remove a patient's paralysis, there are differences between them. DrawParalysis does not require a ritual; the paralysis may be taken into the Healer's own body; and the Healer receives approximately five times as much experience.
Because the command is enabled for "natural language" parsing, you can use all kinds of variations and still be understood. "Drawparalysis from the second guard", "draw paralysis from the 2nd guard", "draw paralysis 2nd guard", "drawparalysis 2.guard" and many others will all do fine.
