USE:
- Use form one when there's no possible ambiguity. In the example, there's only one guard in the current room.
- Use form two or three when more information is needed to interpret the command — that is, there's more than one possible target by the same name to which the command could be applied. In the example, there's a tall guard, a short guard, a skinny guard, etc.
- Use form two or three when more information is needed to interpret the command — that is, there's more than one possible target by the same name to which the command could be applied. In the example, there's a tall guard, a short guard, a skinny guard, etc.
- Use form four when there are many instances of <target> present, and you want to draw an illness from one of them in particular.
When you successfully "draw" lisping from the body of a sufferer, the lisp is completely removed from that person or animal. Usually that's a good thing. Note however this consequence: unless you yourself are somehow immune to lisping, you'll take that lisp into your own body — becoming immediately impeded. This may or may not be desirable. Caution is advised.
There are many conditions which could prevent you from being able to draw lisping from a particular target. You may be too tired, or paralyzed, or unable to perceive the target. You may be insufficiently skilled in the DrawLisp Skill. The Game channel will inform you of the outcome of your command.
As with many other TriadCity commands, your expertise with the DrawLisp Skill will determine how effective your attempts to use the DrawLisp command will be.
DrawLisp is a Healer Role command only.
Note that Healers may also use the RemoveLisp command. While both commands have the potential to remove a patient's lisp, there are differences between them. DrawLisp does not require a ritual; the lisp may be taken into the Healer's own body; and the Healer receives approximately five times as much experience.
Because the command is enabled for "natural language" parsing, you can use all kinds of variations and still be understood. "Drawlisp from the second guard", "draw lisp from the 2nd guard", "draw lisp 2nd guard", "drawlisp 2.guard" and many others will all do fine.
