SYNTAX | EXAMPLE | NATURAL LANGUAGE EXAMPLE |
---|---|---|
toggleshoutchannel <false|true> | toggleshoutchannel false | toggle the shout channel off |
USE:
- Use ToggleShoutChannel to turn the Shout Channel off or on.
The GUIs provide a checkbox under the Chat menu for turning the Shout Channel off or on. The ToggleShoutChannel command is provided for MUD clients and telnet, although anyone of course is welcome to use it.
Because the command is enabled for "natural language" parsing, you can use all kinds of variations and still be understood. "Turn on|off the shout channel", "turn the shout channel on|off", "toggleshoutchannel on|off" and "toggleshoutchannel true|false" will all do fine.
