2. drawintoxication <intoxication type> <target> <specifier> 2. drawintoxication stimulants guard tall

4. drawintoxication <intoxication type> <n>.<target> 4. drawintoxication nicotine 2.guard

USE:

  1. Use form one when there's no possible ambiguity. In the example, there's only one guard in the current room.
  2. Use form two or three when more information is needed to interpret the command — that is, there's more than one possible target by the same name to which the command could be applied. In the example, there's a tall guard, a short guard, a skinny guard, etc.
  3. Use form two or three when more information is needed to interpret the command — that is, there's more than one possible target by the same name to which the command could be applied. In the example, there's a tall guard, a short guard, a skinny guard, etc.
  4. Use form four when there are many instances of <target> present, and you want to draw intoxication from one of them in particular.

When you successfully "draw" intoxication from the body of a sufferer, that intoxication is completely removed from that person or animal. Usually that's a good thing. Note however this consequence: unless you yourself are somehow immune to intoxication by the type of intoxication being drawn, you'll take that intoxication into your own body — becoming immediately intoxicated. This may or may not be wise. Caution is advised.

Note that there are these seven intoxication types in TriadCity:

  1. alcohol
  2. caffein
  3. halucinogens
  4. nicotine
  5. opiates
  6. stimulants
  7. sugar

There are many conditions which could prevent you from being able to draw intoxication from a particular target. You may be too tired, or paralyzed, or unable to perceive the target. You may be insufficiently skilled in the DrawIntoxication Skill. The Game channel will inform you of the outcome of your command.

As with many other TriadCity commands, your expertise with the DrawIntoxication Skill will determine how effective your attempts to use the DrawIllness command will be.

DrawIntoxication is a Healer Role command only.

Because the command is enabled for "natural language" parsing, you can use all kinds of variations and still be understood. "Drawintoxication alcohol from the second guard", "draw intoxication alcohol from the 2nd guard", "draw intoxication alcohol 2nd guard", "drawintoxication alcohol 2.guard" and many others will all do fine.
