USE:

1. Use Learn to attempt to learn a new Skill, or improve an existing one.
2. Practice is a synonym for Learn.

Usually, when your character gains a level some quantity of new practices becomes available. One of these is expended with each use of the Learn command.

Use Learn to ask a Mobile (automated character) to work with you to improve your knowledge of a particular Skill. Note that you don't use Learn with non-automated characters; instead just ask them to Teach you the Skill. For a list of Skills which any particular character will teach you, if any, type "skills <character name>", while you're in the same room as the character.

Because the command is enabled for "natural language" parsing, you can use all kinds of variations and still be understood. "Learn parry from the battlemaster", "learn parry from the second battlemaster", "learn parry 2nd battlemaster", "learn parry 2.battlemaster", and many others will all do fine.
