Cops are officials of one or another of the Thirds. They have the
legal authority and the obligation to arrest or otherwise inconvenience
criminals, runaway slaves, or other persons designated arrestable by
the appropriate Third authorities or the Central Computer. Cops include
Peacekeepers, Stormtroopers, CopBots, Sylvan Archers, and other
types.
