How We Use Information
We use the information which identifies you only when we need to contact you. We do not share this information with outside parties, ever, under any circumstances.
We may need to contact you for a variety of predictable reasons. For example, there may be a problem with your account, or a forthcoming change to our systems which will impact your account. In some cases we may need to ask players to change their game behaviors, or inform them of policies which may impact their play. We may send you e-mail newsletters and notices of special offers or events, if you agree to receive them. We will provide our mailing lists to third parties.
We do use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our web site and to share with advertisers. We may also provide statistics summarizing the demographics of our membership. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X percentage of our members are technology professionals, or that Y percentage spend Z number of hours playing our games; etc. But, we will not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.
