Your privacy is extremely important to us. Simply put, we don't sell or otherwise share your name, email address, or any other information about you personally, period the end. We don't share it with anyone. We go to a lot of trouble and expense to ensure that any information we collect from you remains secure and confidential.

The Information We Collect

When you register, we ask you for the information which we need in order to contact you, along with some very basic demographics such as your age and gender. Some examples of the types of personal information requested at this time are:

On other pages we give you the opportunity to voluntarily provide us with demographic information in more detail. Additionally we may provide similar survey opportunities within the context of our games, for instance TriadCity. Examples of this type of voluntary information are:

How We Use Information

We use the information which identifies you only when we need to contact you. We do not share this information with outside parties, ever, under any circumstances.

We may need to contact you for a variety of predictable reasons. For example, there may be a problem with your account, or a forthcoming change to our systems which will impact your account. In some cases we may need to ask players to change their game behaviors, or inform them of policies which may impact their play. We may send you e-mail newsletters and notices of special offers or events, if you agree to receive them. We will provide our mailing lists to third parties.

We do use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our web site and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area of our site, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form. We may also provide statistics summarizing the demographics of our membership. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X percentage of our members are technology professionals, or that Y percentage spend Z number of hours playing our games; etc. But, we will not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

How We Use "Cookies"

A "cookie" is a small identifier which our server sends to your Web browser. It's needed to maintain your login session as you navigate from page to page on our site. Our Commitment to Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

All communication between your computer and our systems is encrypted. Your password is stored encrypted via one-way hash; we can't read it. We don't store credit card data. All persistent data we store in our databases are encrypted on disk.

Our Commitment to Children's Privacy

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our web site from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our site is structured to attract anyone under 13.

How You Can Access or Correct Your Information

You can access all the information which we collect and maintain online and which identifies you personally via the "Account" menu of our site. This menu is clearly labeled and is accessible from every public page on our site. You can use this menu to review, correct or update all of the information we keep which identifies you personally. To protect your privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access to your information.
