Having had aspirations for cartography, I was busily mapping Capitoline. In fact, I had most of it mapped when I suddenly died. I was well on my way to level 22 and well armored. I had no clear indication as to why I died,

Having heard of your untimely demise, ZodiacWoman and myself set out to retrieve your body. Guess I was to intent on getting that av-energy shield of yours because a Shadow Man backstabbed me. It happened so quickly ZW didn't have time to help so I'll be joining you shortly. Guess maybe you have an idea how you died now. Those Shadow Men are stealthy and very deadly to those of us with a white glow.

Even though I am the only Spider gang member that doesn't glow white, I feel safe in saying that your deaths will not go unavenged. I know how hard the two of you worked toward avenging Spider's death. Now there are few remaining that knew Spider but those few will continue on the path you set for us. Shadow Men beware!

Now that some time has passed since the Shalako - Chyenne tragedy, I am hoping that cooler heads prevail. Let us not rush into a situation that is beyond our capabilities. First let us strengthen ourselves, as was Shalako's purpose. I plead that no one strikes before we are all ready. As the last survivor of the original four, I hope these words carry some weight and are well heeded.

I apologize, Tahquitz, appearances would indicate that I ignored your request to wait until all were ready. My incursion into Capitoline was for Recon and Intel purposes. However, on discovering a Shadow Man sleeping alone, the temptation was to great. My encounter served only to reinforce your words of warning. The energy and health of even this lesser of Shadow Men was greater than that of any other creature I have faced to date. I have had other chances to even the score since but was able to resist the temptation these other encounters offered. Again, I offer my apologies.
