This will be my board post that will remain my updates page as well as a QnA for the maps I create. I wanted to make this page to keep the Map Key small but still inform you on what I was thinking and doing when I created the Maps.

Things to quickly mention:

If I did things correctly, then the TC City map is 60x60. Which gives each section of the city roughly 1,200 'rooms' with a whopping 3,600 total within the city walls. This of course is not the complete picture, since this is only the outside and ground view of the city.

The topography of the city is basically 'bowl shaped' with a few bumps here and there. The bumps being the Phnx, the Temple of Juno Moneta: the TriadCity Mint, Blueberry Hill and Alignment/SilverForest. Though I'm sure I missed a few hills. (This does not include Virtual Vegas, which is pyramid in shape, which is the building's design and not the slope of the ground.) From what I can tell, the incline of the city is slight, and you should only really notice there is one when you are at the opposite end of the incline/decline. And yes, this means the Black, White and Gray rivers flow uphill.

In the Original Map, there is a tree displayed in the Southern Third, the "Tree of Knowledge". It seems the location for the tree has been taken over by the Royal Library. Which stands to reason, because I cannot see the gardener bots taking very good care of a huge tree.

Ok, thats all for the 'Things to mention' part. I will give more info when I discover more fun things to post. You, of course, are welcome to add your TC experiences here as well. More to come.

Why It Looks That Way!
This explains why things are the way they are in the maps. I will attempt to answer any questions before they are asked here, if you don't find your answer or want to make a comment please do so!

(some of this should be ooc, so apply as you see fit, if i have not already)

Q: What is Complex and Not Complex as described in the Map Key?

Its very simple, Complex means that the area on the inside is larger than what it appears on the outside. Once you enter into the Complex area, you are in what I like to call the 'inner' part of the city. This area can be vastly larger than the 'outer' view.

(ooc)A simple explanation: If you have ever walked through a park and taken a look at all the things in the park, benches, trees, playground etc. There is a lot to see and do inside the park. Ok well, lets say you walk around the park using the road. You go faster through that area don't you? less to see because its more of a direct path. Same can apply here.

*The Cathedral, the Palace and the Temple*

Found in the corners of TC and the south-most center of the city. This was extremely hard to place within the city because it can be hard to categorize the area as 'complex' or 'not complex'.

I want to quickly mention that the colors of the Complex Key is different in each third on purpose. This was to reflect the feel of the Third and hopefully make it unique to the other two thirds. being Blue, Red and Yellow.

"Why it looks that way!"

This will try to explain the Cathedral in the NW, the Palace in the NE and the Temple in the southern third in more detail. Cause I hit the enter key a bit early on the last post

These areas were very difficult to place because of me not knowing what, if any, of the area was complex or not. What you see on the map is what I felt fit within the city based on what I could see. So I made the NE and NW third's forests Not Complex and the Cathedral/Palace Complex. Hopefully this will ring true as the city gets larger.
The Southern Temple is a pickle, because of the size of it verse nothing else I can compare it to. It really was a guess, i'm sure it will need updating in the future.

What is 'Proposed Expansion'?

This is my attempt to give you a little something extra to look forward to. As well as something to look at now. While you cannot enter these areas at the moment, hopefully one day you will. In the mean time, enjoy the view.

All proposed expansions are based on what I see in TC, as well as what was seen in the Original Map. So if there is a dotted outlined box, its very likely there is something to see. (though I will admit some things are placed solely on an educated guess). These areas will become solid once they are available to the public.
