How about a separate "Lore" BB for each Role, and maybe even make it so that only characters who are members of the Role can post on it... maybe.
The essential idea is that warriors compare weapons and armours on theirs, thieves list hot marks, Herbalists list their "secret recepies", etc. and the entried won't get lost in the ever-growing Lore board when players want advice on their Role.

Yes there'll be role-specific boards in the guild houses one of these days. (Why is this OOC???)
