Having read the explanation of Group on the Player Pages Command Reference, I don't understand the final sentence, ie that your mileage amy vary. Please could somebody explain it to me?

And if you, too, are struggling it should read "may" !!!

I believe this means that everyone in the same group will not necessarily require the same amount of energy to move around. For instance, in many "evil" areas, good characters require 3 energy to move one "space", while evil ones require 1 energy for that same area.
