    Subject: Herb sachets and expiration

Does anyone know if Herbalist's herb sachets wear down even while they aren't being worn? I happen to know that the sachets purchased from the Herbalist's shop will last longer if they are only worn infrequently, but do those made by other herbalists also only expire if worn, or do they gradually fade regardless?
