Wooooooooooooo!!!!
You could also ask someone to auction a scroll of recall for you.
Making this sticky after a conversation with Mark.

You should always have a Scroll of Recall with you, because Midgaard will sometimes trickily pretend to trap you in a room with no exits. In fact, there are no rooms with zero exits, but, unlike TriadCity, in Midgaard the game only lists the available exits that are *open*. And, sometimes, opening a hidden exit is a special puzzle you have to solve. If you're not able to solve the puzzle, or don't have the necessary resources with you (the hidden key you needed to find first, or similar), you'll be stuck there without a recall scroll.

So, always have one with you.
If you go through the Museum portal to check out the Dungeon world, how do you get back to TC? Do you have to use RPs for a recall? (Do RPs work in Dungeon?)
I think it would be simpler to upgrade Help to give directions.
I'm not expert on VoiceOver, so, big grain of salt required. I've been using the iOS clients for TriadCity, Midgaard and Dungeon via VO and finding it nicely done. Even for sighted players it's worth checking out because you can leave your character unattended for a time and the device will read to you when events occur. Awesome for multi-tasking: you can keep the game in the background while cooking dinner. Very enjoyable.
I've been using the iOS clients for all three games (TriadCity, Midgaard, Dungeon) a lot lately and love them all. These and the Android clients are quite similar, so I find the iOS versions equally intuitive although maybe a hair more elegant, as is true for me of iOS devices in general. It's awesome to be able to login with my phone - I've been popping in to see how newbies are getting along, stuff like that. The real fun though is playing with a tablet. My family has several generations of iPads available. Playing the games in landscape mode on a large pad is as straightforward as a desktop and a lot more portable.

Big fan.
Bump.
New players: when you see Chiensha logged in, say hi, introduce yourself, and ask for gear. Chiensha is happy to provide you with anti-gravity eq including energy shoes, shields, canteens, bags and so on. He can also get certain vanadium gear (nose rings) which prevent you being tracked by non corporeal types, should you find that as creepy and intrusive as I do. These items will help you explore longer, rest less, and carry more loot.

For higher-level folks: he can also get you lightning daggers, rare herbs, and other goodies.

Hit him up.
I have some ideas that are kind of related:

1. Trade RPs for full drift. We can already trade 10 RPs to reset drift to 0. Add the option to reset to 0, +1000 or -1000, your choice.

2. Give RPs for more things. For example let forum administrators (me) give a player one RP as reward for an especially useful, insightful or helpful forum post.

3. Hide caches of RPs in the game world(s) where they're difficult to find. This'll be an incentive for Explorers, especially once the Explorer Role is formally ready.

4. Make a big pot of RPs one of the after-game prizes in the Dungeon world.

5. Let players give each other their RPs, like how we can transfer Dinars to each other now.

I would especially like to give RPs for outstanding forum posts. I've noticed that the more active the forums, the more new players join. I think people like to see that the games are active.

Thanks!
Oops I'm wrong about the mobile clients! They do pop-up signs, but, there's no need to enable JavaScript. Signs are translated only for MUD clients. You only need JavaScript for the Web client.
I'd forgotten that the corpses of adventurers cocooned in the arachnid forest have 100 Dinars inside. That's a real easy source of quick game bucks IF YOU'RE NOT IN DANGER FROM THE MONSTERS. Be level 5+, have armor, maximize your Flee and Parry skills. I do believe these repop, so you should be able to go back again and again after waiting a few minutes.
Thanks also for letting us re-write some of the areas we believe can be improved. And replace some others altogether. It's slow going because we don't have much time to contribute, but it's fun and we like the difference we're making!
Is there any update regarding the Explorer Role? ETA? I know the head of the Code Warriors has been hospitalized recently (get well Mark!!). Just asking since there's a group of regular players who are eager for it.
There are Thief skill teachers in each of the Thirds, appropriately aligned. The Thief HQs are a little bit hidden, as they should be. But you'll find them through ordinary exploring.
