I would like to suggest the creation of a "safe". How I see this item working:

-It could be built into a room, such as the bedroom or closet.
-It could be a purchasable item, but that could cause issues with hoarding all over again.
-The safe would be located in a room, and its contents would count towards the maximum number of items in the room.
-There would be an item limit as to what fits in there, but it would hold containers also (Ex: 1-2 kits should be able to fit inside of it)
-This would be the only area in-game that is completely dissipation-free

Additional ideas as to what would be implemented into it:
-Can only be seen or looked into by people on the acl (Ex: Player1 owns house and brings guest in with her. Guest is not on the ACL, though is inside the house. Player1 can "l in safe" just fine, but guest recieves message such as "But you don't know the combination"

-Items in the safe would not be grabbed for tax-funding issues UNLESS all other items have already been taken.
-Safe could be given its own ACL (Such as the condo's in the NE, they have a guest bedroom. While the guest may be on the ACL and allowed to sleep there, Player1 may not wish them to be able to see into their safe.)
-Each bedroom or closet could be equipped with its own. In this case, while most apartments/townhouses only have one bedroom, and only one safe, places such as the condo's in the NE would have one in the main, second and possibly guest bedrooms.
-If bought as an item, maybe have color choices for what is available.
-If bought as an item, maybe have different levels of security/size, causing it to hold different amounts of items.
-If bought as an item, make a limit for [#] safe(s) per household. If trying to place more than this, receive a message along the lines of "Sorry, but this home has already used its allocated space for safes"
-Kindly requesting that the safe (or one of the types of safes) be able to hold at least one completely filled kit.

I believe there may have been one or two other thoughts on this that have escaped me at this current time, but please do consider this item.

Having this item to place in homes could be key to bringing back value them in some peoples eyes. Thank you for your time in reading this, and (specifically to Mark) I hope you will let me know your thoughts on my suggestion also.

Another thought on this was, perhaps the bank will allow the purchase of a safety deposit box or something.

Anyways. If nothing else, I was hoping to see a form of this around so that if I happen to get to go on my week long vacation I was hoping for, I could leave things behind for my friends in case they needed any of it (not too terribly much, but some) I understand this could also be dealt with by handing over the items directly to the person and saying "guard this with your life" but, I would prefer to not have that issue.
