Are kids welcome?

Not really.

SmartMonsters writes for "smart grownups". Midgaard emphasizes adult themes, including sexuality, slavery, suicide, murder, racism, oppression, and many others. We encourage parents to exercise caution.

Additionally, Midgaard as an old-school hack-and-slash MUD is pretty much universally violent. You're either attempting to kill things or they're attempting to kill you. Parents may or may not approve.
