It seems all too often that people focus on the imperfections of the game, despite the knowledge that's it's in beta. I was struck again today by the fact that even now, in its far-from-complete stage, this game has begun to bridge the gap between author-driven literature and interactivity. There are parts of the game that are just plain fun, and lots of little things that make the experience enjoyable - it's too easy to take things like that for granted. Just as the game creator has an obligation to satisfy the target audience, I think that audience should validate the creator's efforts. So, good job so far, and keep it up. I think we're all interested in seeing what happens next.
As a side note, I received an e-mail today notifying me that a character's bank account was getting low. Quite helpful.
