Hi!
I posted this in the Lore section.
”Hey a stupid question. do you have to be logged in the whole prison sentence or can you idle offline and play other characters while the time is being served”
Would it be too easy or dumb to make it so that the sentence is served while being offline?

Considering that the sentences can be over 2000 days ingame, that still a long time. And since time goes on while the player is logged out. This would make the player to create a new char to play during the sentence. This also gives the option for prison gameplay if the player wants.
I would love to hear all of your thoughts on this 😊

I think the sentences are too harsh. Ofc you have to pay for the crime you’ve committed but 2000 days in jail is a lot. Considering that it’s also NE maybe you could bribe someone? 😜

Bribing is a cool thing yeah.
My suggestion was that the time would pass while being offline?

Hmmm, I think the point is that in NE you're supposed to bribe your way out.

I think that's true. Not to put words in the mouths of the authors, I think the sentences are ridiculous on purpose, to encourage you to find your way out. Bribery is the obvious method. On behalf of the community of Explorers, I suspect there are others.
BTW you can always use RPs to recall your way out. I think. I've never tried it in there but I haven't heard anything about it being restricted.

Rp recall - doesnt work if your serving time.
Maybe the rp pardon should extend to this?
When trying that it just says ”you are not wanted”

So if you RP Pardon then RP Recall the recall doesn't work? Interesting! I believed it would.

Yeah. I Guess RP Pardon is meant to work when youre arrested. Should this be extended to the prison?
RP Recall just gives you the message ”if you werent so darn incarcerated”
