Malopaths need the track skill they were able to get earlier when it was possible to be a ranger and a malopath. They also need hide skill, otherwise it is too dangerous for them to do their business

Or you could team with a Ranger...

Yes, I could team up with a Ranger, but unfortunately I don't know any evil rangers and teaming up with a good aligned one messes both drifts.
