USE:

1. Use Learn to attempt to acquire a new Skill or Spell.
2. Practice is a synonym for Learn.

Usually, when your character gains a level some quantity of new practices becomes available. One of these is expended with each use of the Learn command.

Use Learn to ask an NPC to work with you to teach you a particular Skill. For a list of Skills which any particular character will teach you, if any, type "skills <character name>", while you're in the same room as the character.

Because the command is enabled for "natural language" parsing, you can use all kinds of variations and still be understood. "Learn chilltouch from the master", "learn chilltouch from the second master", "learn chilltouch 2nd master", "learn chilltouch 2.master", and many others will all do fine.
