alias

Purpose: create a shortcut for a long command.

USE:

1. There's just one form of Alias. Type the word "alias", followed by the shortcut you want to create, followed by the command and its arguments which you're creating a shortcut for.

You can create as many aliases as you like. To modify an existing alias, use the same syntax: if you use the same shortcut, you'll overwrite the old alias. Your existing aliases are displayed in a tab inside the player applet.

Deleting an alias requires your mouse. In the player applet, double-click the alias you want to remove.
