Thirded. I like that a lot of people are listing their characters in their sigs, but searchability would be great, too. (Plus I really liked the instructions on that page: "Enter "ar" into the Name field, "il" into the Last Name field, and "oob" into the Character field, and despite your absurd search criteria, your result will still be Mark Phillips, the player who plays Poobah.")

So I... found this map of PUNishment, all of Level 4 plus the path from there back to the exit. It looks quite recent. Anyone interested in buying it, please let me know.

If you're interested in commissioning maps of other areas, like MacDougal's Cave or parts of the Forest of Silver Threads, contact me and we'll work something out.
[Salus] Finally found it and I'm outta there, thanks!
Okay, I give up. I've been all around PUNishment Level 4 several times now, and I can't get out. I finally used a RP for the energy to go around and open every room in a single login, and still nothing.

What should I be looking for? Is there a room where, when you answer the pun, the "up" door opens?
Sorry for the late reply, but I think this might not be entirely due to the human element. I recall there was a period where every time I changed my Player Page, it created a new one with the same info. And as has been pointed out, there are about 20 entries for Mark Phillips in the PM search.
As awesome as it would be to look through an entomologist's collection, I'm referring to the Bugs page. At this point, there are enough bugs that the stated purpose of checking what the response was for a particular bug, or seeing if it's already been reported, is fairly impractical. Ideally a full-text search would be nice, but even being able to sort by who reported them would add a lot of functionality. Cheers!
But then, I've seen some folks in the NW wielding what looks like ballpoint pens. So, you never know...
Send me a MUDmail detailing what you lost and a time, and I'll be happy to meet you. *Grin*

Nice! I look forward to seeing those.
I recently found a number of shiny items. Looks like someone was leveling and forgot their stuff. Contact me to pick up your things.

Just as a point of curiosity, what things are planned for the near future in TriadCity? The last new, exciting project I heard about was Xanadu. I know our Pancreatic and CodeWarrior brethren are working hard, but it'd be nice to have some specifics to look forward to. For myself, I'd love to see more Roles go online, but I understand those take a lot of background work.
I see Oscar is on vacation of late. I hope he returns soon; I miss his interjections.
General, Lore, and Suggestions are offline. I can still see Newbie, CodeWarriors, and Pancreatics.

I doubt they've been "cleared"; our fearless leaders wouldn't just go deleting things without discussing it, or at least making some mention of it in an MOTD. However, the bots have been disappearing one by one lately-- perhaps some sort of maintenance is occurring. Though I would expect all the boards to be located on the same machine.
*shrug*
I disagree. I mean, of course it would make life interesting. But I worked hard for my first antigravity canteen, and I would have been p-r-e-t-t-y upset if it had gotten stolen. (Wait, actually I still would...)
Plus, with NPCs there's a certain amount of restraint involved. 'Hmm, if I try to pickpocket this guy and fail, he might turn around and stab me in the face.' Since there's no PVP violence in general, though, there's nothing to prevent one from attempting to steal from any PC that holds still long enough.
(This comment would have been shorter if I had said: "I agree with the points on the "What makes TC different from other MUDs?" page.)
Tell your mum to get Firefox?
Not to be flippant, but I've found that although most folks are scared of changing, if you download and install it for them they do fine afterwards.
(Aside: I was helping my great-aunt with her computer, and I asked what she used for Internet access. she said IE, so I double-clicked the icon... and Firefox came up. Apparently one of her younger relatives had stealthily altered the shortcut path, and she was none the wiser...)
