None, far as I know.

I think it might be open to abuse? Unscrupulous players could add and remove Roles to advance their characters unfairly?
The jewelry is worn by some of the mid/high level vampires in the Southern Third. The masks come from the underground bioweapons lab off one of the back alleys in the Southern Third, which also has some of the crazy great weapons and armor that sizzle with electricity.
I know of nose rings, earrings, face masks, rings and bracelets. Only wearables (that I know of), no weapons or other item types.
Left for you in the same place.
The donation room has been upgraded to persist the donate items between reboots. This isn't authentic - the original DikuMUD version didn't do this. But it makes sense for our Midgaard!
We need a way to safely leave hard-to-find items where others can retrieve them, without danger of them being scavenged by passing NPCs (or other players).

There are out-of-the-way places which are likely safe. But we need a way to be sure.

Once upon a time there was an idea for a post office with secure post office boxes. Something like that would be helpful.
I left a vanadium nose ring in the foyer of Poobah's treehouse. (I'm pretty sure nothing will scavenge it there.)
It protects against astral attacks and astral projections.

Chiensha will get you some, if you like.
The Hawai'i Community Foundation has created the Maui Strong Fund to assist families affected by the horrible fires. Thank you for donating what you can.

It's been discussed in other threads, but, just pointing out that the Role is real!

The MOTD is here.
And BTW, this acts as an old-school, somewhat primitive way of hiding exits. In TriadCity exits can be difficult to find, but the mechanism is more sophisticated. In Midgaard, an exit may not be obvious simply because it's closed. One example is the trapdoor in the sewer which leads down to the mudmonsters and the rats which carry the silver rings. That trapdoor is closed by default, so unless you look down you probably won't find it.
Quick note because this came up in chat recently. Remember that in Midgaard, door exits only display in the exit list when the door is open. If you find yourself in a room which seems to have no exits, "open door". There are actually almost no rooms in Midgaard without exits, and none of those are reachable by players at lower levels.

This display behavior is different than TriadCity, so, if you're used to TC, it's useful to keep in mind!
Word, Cammie!

A fairly real number of people coming from earlier MUDs think TC is buggy because things don't work the way they're used to!
We're due for a newsletter, don't you think?
Chrome just told me my password was found in a data breach somewhere. My bad for using the same password for different accounts! I'm changing it here, and I encourage everyone to be disciplined about not re-using passwords on different sites, and changing them frequently.
