Can we have an Explorer Role? We already gain xp for exploring but it would be fun if there could be Explorer advententures, like urbex.

Cool idea. Perhaps some special urbex Skills for navigating rubble and crawling through tunnels? Then when you arrive at certain places for the first time you gain piles of xp for the achievement.

Could mesh with other Roles, be a resource I mean, for example by finding super-rare herbs which Herbalists and Healers could use. Or Poisoners.

That's what I was thinking. You'd have to have the Role or its special skills to be able to find / get in to hidden / difficult spaces, and there'd be rewards for getting in. I like the idea that the rewards could benefit more than just the explorer herself.

I think of this Role being more about puzzle-solving than other Roles. Playing it would be pretty different. There's a group who have been doing this for months, so my suggestion really is to make their path "official" and give them opportunities for adventure equal to other Roles.

An automapping device would be useful. Maybe something you wear on a wrist or carry in your backpack, which will tell you the moves to get back to where you started. You could push a button to tell it to map from there.

Automapper is interesting. Maybe some other specialized eq? SeeSkill enhancers, other sense enhancers. Maybe some additional sense-related Skills like, say, ability to tell fresh air from stale, like Gandalf in Moria. Maybe some specialized bread crumbs for trail marking which, unlike the ones you buy from the bridge ladies, aren't eaten by passing rats?

I like the urbex thing.

Infrared or ultraviolet flashlights.
Grappling hooks.
Robot cameras which can be sent ahead.
Dogs which can find items by smell.
Ultraviolet breadcrumbs to drop to mark the way out.
Ultraviolet marker pens to write on things.
Explosives to clear rubble.
Winches or pullies for dragging heavy objects.

I know, the CodeWarriors are way behind. It's top of the list.
