I would help in my work if there were one or more funeral directors. When I pick up a soul for transport there is the angony of leaving the body behind. If the bodies could be accumulated in one place, it would save me time. I suspect that the funeral director would have to be skilled in the ancient embalming arts as well as being gifted with some showmanship so as to make a buck off of the departed. The NE third seems like the right place for it to be located. But, I would like to know what you think.

Now this is a fine bit of irony. Turns out that I have been looking to get back into the "game". But before I sign any papers. I have a few quick questions for you.

First, what kind of services can the dearly departed look forward to? Will they have access to a cememtery - needing therefore to buy a plot and a casket. Will creamation be an option - needing therefore a urn, as well as maybe some urn display cases to keep the remains of your loved ones safe and sound. If cremation is an option, will there be areas where, if the deceased so choose, their ashes can be scattered? Oh, and lastly, will I be able to get embalming fluid at a discount?

You humans are so pathetic. You should recycle what few parts are worth recycling when someone dies. Cementariies, mounments, etc. to the deceased is just silly. Best plan is to chuck the bodies in a bulk kiln and dump the ashes in the city dump. But, nobody cares what I think. It is so depressing.

Think there should be a funeral parlor somewhere that handles all of the deceased players. For those with no heirs, the funeral director would recieve the worldly posessions and could dispose of them as they saw fit. There would be embalming fluid and other tools of this dark art. Cremation (and a crematorium) should be options. Some sort of Lay-away-Plan might be attractive. Sort of a pay now go later plan.

What about paying extra to be mummified, in the hopes of being preserved enough to enjoy the afterlife more fully when it is implemented?

This could be quite a high level skill, and be an expensive option to choose in your funeral plan.

Coming from a funeral directors beliefs: I don't believe a lay-away plan would be beneficial. Most people do not believe they will die any time soon. So why should they pay? If a funeral director becomes a role, then that should be the duty of the apprentice to perform. My question is if an evil person dies would the procedure be different than a good or neutral person?

Marvin, you are so very charming. I think we should court.

The trick is to not consider it a "lay-away plan" why not compare it to life insurance? Sure, no one plans to die, but some people like to plan in case they happen to have an accident. And if you ask me, a good life insurance plan not only gives peace of mind but can also help to lift the heavy weight that funeral costs can add to already troubled loved ones.

As for different alignments needing a different procedure, try not to look at it in such black and white terms. I find that most everyone has some special needs for their funeral - anything from religious representation, to having a party celebrating their life rather than mourning it. It all depends on the person, and as Funeral Director it is important that the needs of the client are always met! - You get more business from falmily and friends of the dearly departed that way

One more question for you. How much competition will there be in the funeral service industry? Will there be many funeral directors running around? Or will there only be a select few?

Sigh. A brain the size of planet and this woman thinks I should court her. Maybe if the pain in my diodes goes away. Life, don't talk to me about life.

In the NE third, I would think that the laws of supply and demand would dictate. In the NW third, the minimum that maintained dignity. Southern no idea.

How about instead of a lay-away plan, people are able to by pre-fab packages ranging prices, either from the funeral director or a nearby merchant? Similiar to a will, they could be bought and entered into a computerized system to be retrieved upon the player's death or even upgraded if the player moves up in the world. I'm thinking the pauper package will be free or cheap will be a coffee tin and the richest will include casket, wreathes, grave blankets, flower, and all the trimings.

So I'm thinking the funeral director is gonna need some special skills for this job. Definetly an embalming skill, don't want the corpse disolving into the ground too fast. Prob some cosmetic skills, bodies look a little ragged after a dump rat or two been gnawing on them awhile. They're gonna need some way to pick up the body, and afterwards bring it to the cemetary. Unless, they're mighty strong, might be tricky. I'm sure even more too, that are tricks of the trade that i don't know about, cremation and all that stuff.

I wouldn't mind if they did non-humans too, some taxidermy maybe, might have been nice to have a trophy of the first spider i killed.

And I hope you have a nice big plot in the cemetary so I can come and dance on your grave, Malopath.
